The Oligochetes are a large and diverse group of Annillida. Nine families exist globally, five of which are reported for Ohio: Enchytraedae, Naididae, Tubificidae, Lumbriculidae and Lumbricidae. These include many genera and species, most of which are not found in Ohio.
